The Impact of the Project

I think my project tackles the levels of prevention by providing data on the effectiveness of vaccination to reduce the spread of the disease and reduce hospitalization and mortality rates. The project also tackles health promotion by providing information on the impact of the vaccine on the population by looking at trends and observing how the vaccine affects each aspect of health. The project also tackles education through the demonstration of the data by graphical charts and statistical tests to illustrate the components of the virus, the vaccine, its impact, and suggestions. However, in regards to social determinants, the project’s current data showed that regardless of socioeconomic status (job, education, and more) there was no discrimination in who covid targeted. However, if I had access to these individuals’ annual income, job title, educational background, and health care access, maybe I would be able to identify the impact of the vaccine and the virus based on socioeconomic factors. Nevertheless, I think the elements of the community that the project could impact are the identified at-risk areas with high-density populations with high unvaccinated and prevalent rates, but low vaccinated rates which were discovered by the identified trends that resulted from the project data analysis.
