The final term paper, which counts for 40% of the overall course grade, should be at least 4 pages single spaced (12 point font, 1 inch margins), including up to 1 page of optional illustrations. 4 pages is the minimum length. Film Arranged in The Lenses of Cultural and Religion Discussion
This is an essay assignment on the film “Arranged (2007).” “Arranged”
is the story of two teachers, Rochel, an Orthodox Jew, and Nasira, a
Muslim, who discover that they have more in common than they (and we)
may realize. Please write down, as much as possible the dialogue of the
characters. After viewing the film, write a paper contrasting the traditional
cultures of the young ladies with our modern western culture.
