Based on this week’s readings and videos, briefly explain the difference between positions and interests in a negotiation.

Colonization of American Indians Discussion
As the colonial powers along the East Coast of North America pushed further west, they inevitably came into more and more contact with American Indians. Looking at the English, French, and Dutch settlers, compare what they each emphasized in their contacts with American Indians, focusing on topics such as religion, desire to acquire Indian land, and desire to establish profitable trade. Which early empire was most successful in these areas and why? I have attached some notes for you to refer.
