Write a 4-5 page essay about “public sociology.” First, consider the different ways that it is defined in the course readings as well as in other articles about the topic. Present you preferred definition. Second, discuss the various ways that “public sociology” can be practiced. Use examples of “real” sociological research from either Chapters 7, 8, 9, or 10 from Sociology in Everyday Life.
